This is definitely an overdue post, but has some great pictures nonetheless! We had some really beautiful days here in April...warm, but breezy with gorgeous blue skies. Unfortunately now we are in May and already hitting temperatures in the high 90's with what feels like 1000% humidity (yes, I meant to write 1000, not 100!). Anyways, we took advantage of the nice weather by hanging out outside with the kiddos and flying Tristan's kite that he got for Easter.
Tristan's kite and that blue sky I was talking about
Looking up, way up, for his kite
The observer, with his crazy mad scientist hair over his ears
Getting his kite back after a fall from the sky
Taking it to Daddy, I presume
I actually think he is pointing to a passing airplane, not his kite in this picture
Victor trying to get the kite up high for Tristan
The neighbor's house where the kite handle/reel part now resides after Tristan let it go and the wind took hold!!
P just taking it all in
Took a break to do a little mowing
Tristan showing Park some love
A little brotherly affection never hurt anyone!
Learning to fly the kite, and more importantly, hold on to it
Practicing with Daddy
On his own
Wow, such a big boy
Ooopps, the wind must have died again, kite down
Tristan got tired of the kite and thought he'd try his hand at yard work
Look at my giant hands Mom
Daddy had to wear "hands" too (what he calls the gloves)
And of course a fun tongue picture!!!!

Too cute! I remember my son losing many kites when he was little because the wind took it right out of his hands and he would just cry and cry until we had to go a new one. Fun times and great memories!
