We've only ventured out to Sea World a few times this summer because honestly, it has just been TOO HOT! But about 2 weeks ago my friend and I decided we really should suffer through the heat and take the kids...but not all of them! We knew the only way we were going to make it through a day at Sea World in the blistering 100 degree heat was to hit up the water rides and the waterpark, and since the "little kids" (i.e. Parker and her two year old) aren't quite tall enough to go on most of the rides, we decided to leave them at home and have a special day with the "big kids"!
We had a lot of fun and the boys definitely enjoyed their special day without their little brothers, even though I thought we were all going to melt from the heat! The waterpark felt awesome that day!
Side note - my friend Melissa and I used to take Tristan and Kaeson to Sea World all the time when they were babies, before the second round of babies came, and I think this is the first time we have taken just the two of them together since the summer of 2007...crazy how time flies! Click here to see an old post from one of the times we took them that summer.
Tristan and Kaeson waiting in line for Shamu's roller coaster
The only way to ride, of course!
Okay, so Kaeson acutally kept his hands up...I think Tristan decided the rail was a better place for his!
