New Additions to the House

I mentioned several posts ago that we had a lot going on with the house and were trying to get things back in order from all the chaos, but realized now I never really explained what was going on. In addition to completely changing the front bedroom into Parker's nursery and all the chaos that went with that, we also updated both of our eating areas.

First, we laid wood floors down in the dining room, the same as in the rest of the house. Now the only place that has carpet in the house is our living room, which we wanted to keep for the kiddos. Second, we sold our large 6 person table that was in the breakfast room and moved the computer stuff in the breakfast room and bought a new, smaller round table to go in there as well. Those of you who have been to our house know that our breakfast room isn't really the size you would think of for a breakfast area, it's more like the size of a bedroom, so a lot can fit in there!!! We still want to get a few things for the walls in there, but are going to wait until after Parker is born to work on that. And finally, I bought new towels and a shower curtain for the kids bathroom to spruce it up bit.

I really like the way everything turned out and happy we made all the changes even though we have our hosue for sale. At least I know if we don't sell any time soon, we will behappy with what we have!
