Video of Tristan

I thought I would share some video with those of you who aren't able to see Tristan live and in person. The videos are kind of short since I had to edit them (file constraint), but I thought it might be fun. The first video is something most men (and maybe a few women) will appreciate and the second and third just show off Tristan's loveable personality. Just click on the small sideways triangle on the bottom left of the video toolbar screen to bring up a new window and then click on the sideways triangle in the new window to start the video.

Tristan is approaching 16 weeks

On Friday, the 23rd, Tristan will be 16 weeks old...almost 4 months! That's 1/3 of a year! It truly is amazing how time flies when you are having fun. I can't even imagine our lives without him here and am so happy I get to spend these precious days with him. I feel very fortunate that I am able to stay at home with him and am cherishing every single minute. Check out the new pictures below to see what we have been up to lately.

Tristan's 3 Month Picture Appointment

Tristan had his "3 month" picture appointment this past Wednesday on Valentine's Day, but he was definitely not in a picture taking mood! He did not want to smile, even for Daddy, and was not cooperative when it came to positioning him for the camera. He was quite the "little monster" (Mommy's nickname for him), so we are going to re-shoot the session on the 28th. Hopefully those pictures will come out and I will be able to post a link to the proofs for eveyone to view. He is also going to have a picture taken for Easter, in his Easter outfit with a live bunny...that ought to be quite interesting! I will definitely post that picture!

What color hair will Tristan have?

Well, we have come to that point where Tristan is losing his "baby" hair and getting a new set. I have noticed over the past few weeks that his hair was thinning out but it is really noticeable when you compare a picture from Novemeber to his recent pictures. Originally his hair was medium to dark brownwith long sideburns, but he is now going bald! His new hair is starting to grow in slowly and appears to be much lighter...I wonder, are we going to have a little towhead? My prediction is that his new set of hair is going to be a dirty blonde/light brown color and eventually get darker. I guess only time will tell...check out the comparison below for now.

Tristan is trying to talk!

Tristan is growing more and more as each day passess. Lately he is talking up a storm with lots of ooohhs and aaahhs and even a few eeewwks. He has also taken a real liking to his toys and many times can be caught with a toy in each hand and one in his mouth. Since the weather has been better (not as rainy and cold), we have made many trips out and about and he seems to enjoy going places and definitely riding in the car!

This Wednesday he has his "3 month" picture appointment and I just can't wait for these pictures since his personality is really showing up now...just check out the pictures I snapped below!
